Babysteps started where all big things begin — with small steps. We are parents who watched our children take their first strides and wondered why toddler shoes look like miniature adult shoes: stiff soles, narrow toe boxes and built-up heels, on feet that have only just learned to stand.
Feet are complete from the start.
A child's foot needs no correction — it needs freedom. That's why we build every shoe on the same three principles: a thin, flexible sole that lets the foot feel the ground, a wide toe box that lets the toes splay, and zero drop — heel and forefoot at the same height, just like barefoot. It's not a trend to us. It's biomechanics.
